Yamaha NS-SW100 10" 100 Watt Powered Subwoofer

Using a gently twisting flared shape for the port causes smooth air flow around the port and reduces the noise that the port can cause. A conventional port produces turbulent air flow that creates extra noise not present in the original input signal. The result of the Twisted Flare Port is a clear, tight, and realistic low frequency response.

Developed by Yamaha, YST II (Yamaha Active Stereo Technology II) combines negative-impedance and constant current principles to drive the cone with precise control. A more stable and accurate low end representation is achieved through YST II. Advanced Negative Impedance Converter (ANIIC) circuits help maintain excellent linearity to produce higher sound quality. With all of these technologies combined the end result is a subwoofer that is clean, tight, and reproduces the low end signal accurately.
